In keeping with yesterday’s post on Big Black Dog Syndrome, I thought I would list 10 random reasons why having a Big Black Dog is so great.
- Lots of unconditional love and affection.
- Easy to find in the snow.
- You can really see it when he smiles.
- All those assumptions people make about BBD? Can work for you, or become a talking point for education.
- Looks really spiffy in a bandanna, and can wear any color.
- Makes me feel petite.
- Big brown eyes that are more expressive than other dogs, because that’s one of the only cues or signals he can use.
- Hard for burglars to see at night.
- Velvet soft ears that beg to be rubbed in exchange for kisses.
- Black never goes out of style.
I mean, how can you not love this?
